Looking back and Looking ahead

Last week:

• I got a mani/pedi in OPI Pearl of Wisdom - so far no visible chips
• I went to Lambertville, NJ
• I finally watched Precious
• I predicted Michael Lynche would get kicked off American Idol (who didn't)
• I misread a recipe and added a stick of butter instead of a tablespoon and my huz still ate it

This week:

• I have a wake and burial to attend
• I have to finally finish switching over my winter to summer clothes
• I have some bday and graduation presents to buy - still getting ideas
• Might just be the week I start power walking
• I will make Turkey Marsala

Last week I:

• Had the Napa Valley Burger at Bobby's Burger Palace (Bobby Flay's new spot)

• Completed all my Mother's Day shopping (I love getting packages in the mail - even if they aren't for me)

• Started the tedious task of bringing up my summer clothes from storage in the basement to our attic (the only day a year I wished I didn't own so many shoes)

• Had a date night with my husband - we went out to Mompou for Portuguese Tapas
  

This week I:

• Want to decide on a new laptop - this one is driving me bananas! (Any thoughts? Anyone get the iPad yet?)

• Have tons of laundry to do - I want it all done before Mother's Day weekend

• Will make my secret pork chops (marinade - Italian dressing). Try it - so simple and delish! Similar recipe here

• Have more items to list on my Big Cartel site (teaser: Versace and Betsey Johnson dresses)

• Will decide how to redecorate my master bedroom - I'm leaning towards lavender like this bedding
  
• Want to go to Baby Loves Disco

• Finally listed some shoes on my Big Cartel site
• Went to this Cherry Blossom Festival

• Return these Joe's jeans leggings to Anthropologie
  
• List some more items on Big Cartel (tons of great denim this week)
• Measure attic to install one of these customized closets
• Start my scrap box project (inspired by these)

• Keep using my Beaba to make Sophia's babyfood
• Catch up on the insane amount of laundry we have
• Figure out what to wear on Easter
• Design Sophia's baptism invitation - I've narrowed the color scheme down to plum and grey
• Buy some Cherry Blossoms stems for my birthday party
• Keep working hard on my special project
• Go to the New York International Auto Show in NYC
• Test drive a new car
• Resist the Girl Scout cookies in the kitchen drawer that are calling my name

• Went to STK with a few friends for my husbands birthday- yummydelicioso as Olivia would say
  
• Got my hair trimmed and Jennifer Aniston inspired highlights
• Finally got a manicure and pedicure other than pale pink. I choose pale lavender (it's a start) - Essie Neo Whimsical
• Created the cutest Easter card
• Cried during My Sister's Keeper
• Made Chicken Piccata
• Am still thoroughly obsessed with Tazo Organic Chai Black Tea Latte
  
• Bought Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Eggplant - love it!
• Tried Red Mango frozen yogurt

• Get the girls to nap at the same time (I lied there is an order and this is 1st)
  
• Get back to my exercise routine
• Get a manicure and pedicure in any color other than my usual pale pink, maybe I'll try OPI Pamplona Purple
  
• Sign up Olivia for Spanish playgroup
• Decide on haircut and color before Thursday
• Finish Easter baskets
• Finalize Sophia's baptism plans and create invitation
